“There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own Soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.” ~ C.G. Jung

This quote though. 🙌🏽

You see it everywhere: whether it be through drugs, alcohol or food; through limitless selfies and social media addiction; whether through obsession with celebrities and pop culture; or through placing their all in something outside of their control such as a career or a lover or a child… The list goes on and on because so many people, everywhere, do not want to face that painful void inside.

So let’s fill it – fill it with whatever, as long as it numbs the pain for a while – no matter how absurd.

If only they knew that delving into your own soul – your own issues, insecurities, traumas and pain – could be the best thing that you could possibly ever do with your life. If only. #Transform
