Abundance isn’t some far-off dream reserved for Abundance isn’t some far-off dream reserved for a future which may never arrive.

Abundance isn’t having more numbers in a bank account than you even know what to do with.

Abundance is here. Abundance is here and now.

Abundance is the little moments. The little things.

The sound of silence when the house is empty; the sound of silence within your own soul.

It’s in the sitting back and looking upon your life and realising that there isn’t one moment when God hasn’t provided for you.

It’s in the holding of your child as they fall asleep in your arms and feeling the deepest, purest love you could ever feel for another human being.

It’s in the bowls of bran flakes eaten alone and in the Nandos deliveries, eaten in chaos, but eaten together.

Abundance is in the fact that you get to spend every single day with the people you love the most in this world.

It’s in the house that you made a home.

It’s in the songs you sing and the movies you watch, and even on the days you do nothing, it’s always there.

Abundance is all around you. It’s absolutely everywhere. Just open your eyes... and you will see.🙏🏽✨💛 #SabahIsmail #ThisSoulJourney

Remember these truths:

1. Nobody is better than you, nobody is lesser than you

2. Your worth is not determined by your productivity

3. Just like seasons, people come and go

4. Change is inevitable

5. Consistency is key to success

6. Happiness is always one thought away

7. Nobody owes you anything - you owe no one nothing

8. Healthy boundaries are necessary for a healthy life

9. All we have is the present moment

10. You always have a choice - in everything

Light, Love and Peace to you and yours,

“Your children are not your children. They are t “Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.” ~ Khalil Gibran, The Prophet.🙏🏽✨💛

Welcoming the third soul that came through us, into this world.

May God guide us all to become the parents we never had ourselves.

May we guide these little beings to be the best version of themselves that they can be.

May we guide them to be of benefit to the whole of humanity. Ameen.

All praise is to God for everything.🧿💛 #SabahIsmail #TodaysMeditation #Alhamdulillah #TrulyBlessed
Sometimes life doesn’t go the way we expected it Sometimes life doesn’t go the way we expected it to go.

I know for me, this has been one of my biggest struggles: having been thrown head-first into the world of parenting and motherhood, before I’d had the chance to do all of the things I’d once wanted to do - like go back-packing around the world and establish a career in honest journalism.

Even now, the truth is, every time I feel like I’m getting back on track with my goals and dreams, something comes along to shake things up a little.😅 And it’s been a long and hard internal battle, but I’m learning to become okay with that.

I now know it’s just God’s way of whispering to me, “Not yet, Sabah. Have patience. Have faith. And trust Me.”

You can plan, and He plans - and as we know, He is the best of planners.

So if you feel like you’re waiting in life for things to happen and for things to finally take off for you; whether it’s career-wise, relationship-wise, anything-wise, just know that there is a bigger plan behind it all.

God never leaves our prayers unanswered. He’ll either give you what you want when the time is right or save you for something even better.

Put your dreams out into the Universe, do the work, be present, live for NOW and trust in His plan. This year has taught me that more than any other year in my life.

All praise is to He. Alhamdulillah for everything.🙏🏽✨💛 #SabahIsmail #ThisSoulJourney #WritersofInstagram
Thinking back to last year and the amazing feeling Thinking back to last year and the amazing feeling and accomplishment of creating the @beyondhenna 2020 calendar. This is the December illustration which I love🥰.

2019 was an incredible year for so many reasons. 2020 has been incredible too - just in a whole other way.😅

It’s been the year of re-setting, re-aligning, healing, being, practising patience, gratitude and presence. It hasn’t been the easiest year. And for personal reasons, I couldn’t create a calendar this year which I’m a little gutted about, but I also understand it just wasn’t meant to happen.

I’m grateful for all that has happened this year. What an experience to live through, hey! 🙏🏽 And this illustration reminds me of all that I’ve learned this year - the main lesson being to always try and remain balanced, and that stillness is always available to us, even in the midst of a storm.

This was a bit of a ramble 😂 but needed to let it out! Sending you much Love, Light and Peace and I pray that if you’re reading this, you are forever blessed.🙏🏽✨💛 #SabahIsmail #ThisSoulJourney #WritersofInstagram #ArtistsofInstagram
Feeling guilty is something I’ve struggled with Feeling guilty is something I’ve struggled with since childhood. I think for the most part, it’s from being brought up by a family who immigrated to the U.K. from Pakistan; people who were constantly battling between two cultures and didn’t know quite how to navigate those new waters with their own children, born and being brought up in Britain.

This meant that growing up I forever felt the battle between Pakistani culture and values, and Western culture and values - and any time I even chose to think differently to the Pakistani values my family were trying to instil within me, I felt guilt.

Now, having grown up and having come a long, long way since those days, in recent times I’ve begun to learn the importance of protecting your energy, and keeping your space sacred. And a part of that has been to start letting go of people and situations that do not help me to grow; and actually don’t add anything positive to my life.

Growing up with the values that family is everything and that we should always respect our elders, this hasn’t been the easiest of tasks for me. Yes, I do still feel pangs of guilt at times because of this conditioning which I still haven’t come out of fully, but at the same time I’ve learnt that doing what is best for me is not selfish at all.

We have to learn to honour ourselves and honour the God that resides within each and everyone one of us - and if that means letting go of anything that doesn’t serve us well, then that’s okay.

People will talk; people will try to bring you back down to their level; people will criticise you and your choices and make it out like it’s you that’s the problem. But none of that is true.

People can only meet you at the same level of consciousness that they have met themselves - and that’s something that I always try to remember.

We’re each on our own journeys. I am on mine as you are on yours. It’s time we learn to respect each other’s decisions and stop feeling guilty for doing what is best for US.

Protect yourself and your energy always, and let the guilt GO. ✨🙏🏽💛 #SabahIsmail #ThisSoulJourney #WritersofInstagram #HealingJourney #SpiritualJourney
